Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Trusted Logistics Partners

We primarily use leading national carriers such as Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC, Ecom Express & XpressBees. Ekart and Amazon Shipping Surface may be used for select locations based on serviceability. The courier selected for an individual shipment may vary based on destination, serviceability, package characteristics, availability, and operational conditions.

2. Order Processing & Pickup

We generally initiate the shipment/pickup process within 24 hours of a successful order (in some cases, pickup is generated within only a few hours). Because Ghar Aangan operates from Uttarakhand and some operating locations are relatively remote, courier partners may sometimes take additional time to reach our pickup location. Pickup time can therefore be longer than the usual 24-hour expectation.

3. Delivery Timelines

We dispatch orders within 24 hours. Domestic delivery timelines across India are:

• ⚡ Fast Delivery (Prepaid Orders): Delivered in 5 to 6 business days across India with FREE Express Shipping.
• 📦 Standard Shipping (Cash on Delivery): Delivered in 7 to 10 business days across India (standard ₹100 fee applies). Note: COD is available on 550ml and 1L packs. Bulk and family packs (2 Litres and 5 Litres) are strictly Prepaid Only.

4. Possible Delivery Delays

Delays may occur because of vehicle accidents, road blocks, landslides, severe weather, natural events, courier operational issues, network congestion, major festivals, public holidays, address/PIN-code issues, customer unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to follow up with the logistics partner when a delay is reported.

5. Express Delivery Options

Ghar Aangan may offer Express Priority Delivery for selected orders and serviceable locations, including selected metro and Delhi/NCR regions. Such faster delivery may require the order to be prepaid. Availability, charges, and estimated timelines depend on serviceability and operational availability.

6. Shipping Charges

Under normal circumstances, Ghar Aangan generally charges approximately ₹100 per domestic delivery. The actual charge can vary by state, city/PIN code, package characteristics, courier service, and active promotions.

We may offer free shipping on selected products, minimum order values, or festive promotions.

7. Packaging: Glass & Steel

Our 550 ml, 1 litre, and 2 litre ghee products are packed in glass jars. Our 5 litre ghee product is packed in a steel Dolchi. Glass is delicate, so we use protective packaging and take reasonable care while preparing every shipment. However, courier handling is outside our direct control.

8. Tracking & Address Accuracy

Tracking: After the courier shipment is generated and picked up, tracking information is available through SMS/email notifications and the courier tracking portal. Courier scans can occasionally update with a delay or show an estimated status that later changes. If tracking appears stuck or unusual, contact us and we will follow up.

Address & RTO: Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, PIN code, and contact number. Incorrect/incomplete details or unavailability can cause delays, failed attempts, or Return to Origin (RTO). Customers should reasonably remain available for delivery calls.

9. International Delivery

International delivery is an ongoing goal for Ghar Aangan. When international shipping is enabled, the usual indicative delivery time is around 15–18 days (indicative charges approx ₹800–₹1,000 per delivery, subject to destination, courier, and applicable charges). Customs clearance, destination regulations, documentation, and weather may cause delays. Applicable duties or taxes imposed by the destination country apply separately where legally required.

10. Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy

Yes, Cash on Delivery (COD) is available for our 550ml and 1 Litre packs across serviceable pin codes in India (7 to 10 business days, standard ₹100 fee applies). Please Note: Due to courier weight and transit handling, our bulk packs (2 Litres and 5 Litres) are eligible for Prepaid Orders Only (UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Netbanking) and enjoy 100% FREE Express Shipping directly from Uttarakhand.
